Careers lessons this week at ALP Leicester

Secondary students have been taking part in the 10th Annual National Apprenticeship Week and now have a clearer understanding of what an apprenticeship is.

Our students have been learning about what an apprenticeship is and we have investigated the different types of apprenticeships and qualifications available up to degree level.

We have discussed the pros and cons of college and apprenticeships including differences in possible salary.

Primary students have this week been learning about what a doctor does and different places they can work. Students tried their hand at CPR, listened to their heart beat through the stethoscope and had their temperatures taken.
