Role: Higher Level Tutor

Salary: Grade S3 - £17,000 to £17,750

We are looking for a High Level Tutor who has enthusiasm and passion for working with this challenging area of special educational needs. The post holder will support and deliver tuition of functional skills, vocational learning and personal and social development delivered to primary, secondary and/or post-16 learners with learning difficulties/disabilities in both individual and small group learning sessions.

As a Higher Level Tutor the post holder will be supported to be able to plan, deliver and assess their own teaching and learning activities with direction and supervision from the Senior Management Team.

Role: Primary Teacher / SENCo

We are looking for a Primary Teacher and Special educational needs coordinator who will engage with teaching and learning activities in the school primary department and will lead the planning, preparation and delivery of lessons on a one to one basis and with small groups.

Also acting as the schools Special Educational Need Coordinator (SENCo) The post holder will have a responsibility for ensuring the SEND provision for all learners in the school meets expectations. They will need to ensure that the school upholds its duties according to the Code of Practice. They will coordinate, monitor and develop opportunities for all learners with SEND in accordance with national and local guidance and the SEND policy

Role: Recruitment Officer

Salary: £9.74 per hour

Location: Home Working or to work from one of our schools in either Nuneaton, Leicester, Welling or Gravesend

Contract Type: Zero Hour Contract - Flexibility to work between zero and 20 hours per week

ALP Schools are a chain of independent schools for young people with special educational needs. We have four schools with a fifth in the advanced stages of its establishment. Our schools are Ofsted registered for between 30 and 50 learners and each has between 35-45 staff when operating at capacity.

We are looking for a recruitment officer to be responsible for the administration of the recruitment process for all of our Schools. They will follow safer recruitment guidelines to ensure all of our schools are fully staffed in line with staffing structures produced by the school’s Head Teachers and Managing Director. Duties and responsibilities can be seen in the job description. We require the post holder to be flexible with regards to their working hours which may be between zero and 20 each week.
